In this hands-on, beginner-friendly class, you’ll create your own custom wooden beer caddy using repurposed pine from the original Coraopolis Hardware store, a local staple that stood in the community since 1946. When we purchased the building in 2022, we saved the original shelving from the back storage areas—and now, you get to turn that wood into something new.

Over the course of this 2-hour class, we’ll walk you step-by-step through the entire process:

• Assemble your beer caddy from start to finish
• Learn how to distress the wood for that rustic look
• Apply stain to bring out the character and grain
• Customize your piece with laser engraving 
• Install a built-in bottle opener

No experience needed—we’ll guide you the whole way.

At the end of the class, you’ll walk out with a one-of-a-kind beer caddy that’s not only functional, but carries a piece of local history with it.
